Privacy Policy
How Foxcroft-on-the-Verse looks after your information.
Foxcroft-on-the-Verse (the “village”) is created and run by Fenella Foxcroft (Fenellaverse) from Hartlepool, England. This page explains what information we collect when you visit, and your rights under UK GDPR.
What we collect
- An anonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser (local storage) so the village remembers your shelf, reviews and photos without asking you to sign in.
- Photos and captions you choose to upload — for postcards, mint-plant sightings, fabric creations and similar village features.
- Reviews, ratings and shelf entries you add for books.
- Your email address only if you sign up for an account or ask to be contacted.
How we use it
To show your contributions within the village, to remember your visits, and to send updates only when you ask for them. We never sell your information.
Cookies & local storage
We use local storage (not tracking cookies) to keep your anonymous identifier and your season preference. No third-party advertising trackers are placed by the village.
Third-party links
Book, shop and giveaway links lead to outside retailers and platforms (for example Fourthwall, BookFunnel, Amazon, Kobo). Those services have their own privacy policies once you leave the village.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. Email fenella@fenellaverse.com and we will respond without undue delay.
