Hello, my name is Fenella Foxcroft.

I've been housebound for over 8 years and this time last year I was in ICU following a brain aneurism rupture (I have further unruptured ones).

Back in 2019 I founded the very first annual Cozy Mystery Day which takes place on Agatha Christie's birthday of 15th September.

The wonderful cozy mystery author Sara Rosett created Historical Mystery Day in honour of Elizabeth Peters's birthday on 29th September — the perfect timing for an inaugural 2026 Cozy Mystery Festival each year between 15th–29th September.

Thanks to my amazing Patreon patrons, I came out of HDU and my very first and forever home 'The Noust' and am learning to walk, talk, and write again as

And that is why I am aspiring to build out the biggest and bestest ever interactive cozy mystery village and community. I called this village 'Foxcroft-on-the-Verse' because the River Verse flows through the village and in folklore the fairies were said to have given the foxes gloves to wear so they could sneak around silently without a sound. That is why you will find foxes and foxgloves all over the village.
