Fenellaverse Studios is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy and accessible working environment for all employees, freelancers, contractors, performers, support workers, carers, contributors and visitors.
As a boutique independent storytelling studio, the majority of activities are undertaken remotely. Fenellaverse Studios actively supports flexible and accessible ways of working that reduce barriers to participation and minimise unnecessary travel.
Fenellaverse Studios is committed to
- Complying with relevant health and safety legislation and guidance.
- Providing a safe, respectful and accessible working environment.
- Considering physical, mental health and wellbeing needs when planning projects and productions.
- Identifying and managing risks associated with remote working, online collaboration, recordings, rehearsals, events and public activities.
- Supporting reasonable adjustments and accessibility requirements wherever possible.
- Ensuring that carers, support workers, performers, freelancers and contributors are treated safely and respectfully.
For remote productions, contributors will normally work from their own homes or agreed locations using appropriate equipment and communication platforms.
For future in-person activities, including exhibitions, events, garden installations and public engagement projects, appropriate risk assessments will be undertaken and relevant safety procedures followed.
All collaborators are expected to
- Work safely and responsibly.
- Raise any concerns regarding health, safety or wellbeing.
- Follow reasonable safety instructions relevant to their role.
Fenellaverse Studios believes that great storytelling is created when people feel safe, valued, supported and able to contribute fully.
